This three-week workshop is designed to introduce the Hip-Hop culture through the element of dance. The class begins with a basic warm-up to stretch and tone the body, followed by center and across the floor progressions. Students will learn energetic and fun choreography in a positive, confidence-building environment with Renaissance instructor Natalia “Boogs” Whalen.
Comfortable clothing that permits movement and floor stretching is required (leggings, shorts, sweats, etc) in addition to jazz shoes, dance sneakers, or a clean pair of athletic sneakers (that are not worn outside).
